Cool & Casual

Just as the title of this post states, the vibe of this look is cool and casual. Not fussy, very comfortable, and still rocking that California flare I always aim for. I've said it before and I'l say it again: there is elegance in simplicity, and even the most minimalistic of outfits can pack a punch of style. This outfit is perfect for any warm, sunny day out and about. Whether it be getting coffee or going to class, a comfy yet chic aesthetic is always a double win. I love the nude booties featured here: I've been really into thick heeled ankle boots a lot lately, primarily because I walk over an hour to and from class each day (most of which consists of hills) and I need strong heeled shoes that won't wear out easily. Now yes, I know, flats are usually the practical solution to this, however the truth of the matter is that I'm always going to be a heels girl. And thankfully for me, I've come to realize that thick-heeled booties not only satisfy my heel lust, but are also sturdy enough to withstand those long, grueling walks I have to do every day. They may be exhausting, but atleast I get to do them in style.

And lastly, yes, I wear this hat quite often. In case you haven't noticed by now, I really like it. :)
